Maori Sea Maiden’s Statue The bronze statue of Napier’s legendary sea maiden, Pania, will be unveiled on the Marine parade on Wednesday by the Prime Minister (Mr Holland). The 35-ton limestone rock selected for the statue’s base was split into three sections this week.
