(Rec. 10 p.m.) TOKYO, April 11. Masaru Furukawa, a 17-yfear-old student, twice bettered the world men’s 200 metres breaststroke record during trials for the Asian Games, to be held in the Philippines next month, the Japanese Swimming Federation announced today. Furukawa covered the distance yesterday in 2mih 35.45ec and 2min 36.65ec, respectively. The federation said it would lodge a claim for Furukawa’s figures to be ratified. The present record stands at 2min 37sec, made last year by Knud Gleie, of D«npark. , _
