HOTEL LICENCE SUSPENDED
FAILURE TO PROVIDE FOR GUESTS
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 26.
The Carlton Hotel, in High street, Dunedin, is to have its licence suspended on April 30, according to an order made at a special sitting, of the Dunedin Licensing Committee this morning, by Mr J. D. Willis, S.M. The hotel was practically burned tc the ground on April 5, 1942. and since then it has been operating on bar trade only. The committee, in the past, has giver orders for guest accommodation to be provided. Because the committee holds that the orders have *not beer obeyed, the licence will be suspended
