CANCELLATION OF TEST URGED
*Bec. 10 p.m.) OTTAWA, .March 26. Canada should ask the United States to cancel plans to explode another hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean, said Mr M. J. ColdwelL national leader of the Commonwealth Co-operative Federation, in the Canadian House of Commons last night. He said there had been general alarm over the March 1 hydrogen bomb explosion. “We are told that within the next month the United States plans to explode another one four times as powerful as the March 1 bomb,” he said. ‘The world is revolted by what has happened in the Pacific and is alarmed that a further experiment, with more dire results is to be undertaken.” He said Canada had a lona - Pacific coastline and should be concerned about what occurred in that qcean.
