£283,754 HANDLED ON SATURDAY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 14. The Totalisator Agency Board handled a total of £283,754 5s in investments on yesterday’s race meetings. This comprised win-and-place bets of £162,207 10s and doubles bets of £121,546 15s. Totals for the individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were:— Poverty Bay, £15.568 15s (Pad). Westland, £7454 15s (Elsie Mary). Gore, £20,765 (Royal Mail). Rotorua, £101.418 10s (Honey Bee). Rangitikei, £62,026 10s (Maire). Canterbury Park, £56,171 10s (Moss Hall). Thames, £20,349 5s (Pocket Raider).
