WORK AT WOOMERA
“WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF CO-OPERATION” (New Zealand Press Association) NELSON, Dec. 16. The work on the guided weapon project -at Woomera, Australia, was a wonderful example of co-operation between two countries, said Dr. D. H. Black, a former Nelson man, who is naw head of the British Ministry of Supply mission in Australia, and is on a visit to Nelson. The bulk of the guided weapon development was being done in England, he said, but Australia was’ providing ranee facilities. Dr. Black arrived at Nelson from Australia yesterday, and is spending a holiday in the district until January 12, when he returns to Australia.
