Fruit Selling Policy.— A decision to write to the Christchurch Fruit and Produce Auctioneers and. Merchants Association protesting against the association's decision to change its selling policy without first notifying the Christchurch Stone Fruit Growers’ Association was made at last evening s meeting of the association. The president (Mr A. H. Woodksaid the trouble arose recently when the merchants association changed its selling policy for cherries and peaches from the sale by lb to the sale by case. He had discussed the matter with the association and had received an assurance that it had been decided to revert to the selling of these fruits by the lb. It was also promised that if the selling policy was to be changed in the future the [growers’ association would be nouned.
