R _ ttrav) The president (Major N. A. Rattray) expressed appreciation of the benefit de rived by the smaller clubs from the distribution of the Totalisator Board’s profits. The club could expect an even better T.A.B. turnover, because its steeplechase meeting was held during. the winter when there were fewer meetings than in the summer months, he said. Totalisator investments at the annual steeplechase race meeting were £15,382 10s on-course, compared withi the pre vious year’s record figure of £20,880. but the profit of £3OO was consulted satis factory, said Major Rattray. £bout < £7oo had been received from T.A.B. prohte. A warning was issued by* the master (Mr M. G. N.
