CHARTERIS BAY CLUB The final races for the Coombes trophiea were sailed by the Charteris Bay Yacht and Power-Boat Club in variable northeasterly winds. Six boats started over a windward and leeward course in the final of the Coombes Cup for I class boats. Ariel, sailed by A. Williams, won the race. The win. with a second placing earlier in the se.’son, gave Williams the cup. The final race for the Coombes Anchor for D class boats drew five entries, which sailed the same course as for the I class race. The race was won by Winklft, sailed by R. Neale, but the trophy went to the second placing, Lyric, sailed by W. Lindsay, with the most points for two races. Results were:— Coombes Cup (I class).—Ariel (A.
