COMMUNITY CAROL SINGING
PLANS OF METHODIST CHURCH
The Methodist, Church will hold community carol singing this evening in the grounds of Wesley Lodge, the eventide home in Park terrace. If it is wet the event will be held on Saturday evening. The singing will be led by the Durham Street Methodist Church choir of about 50 members who will appear in robes as an innovation. The choir, which will be conducted by Mr W Melville Lawry, will be accompanied by a piano and two violinists. Christmas messages will be read during the evening by the president of the Methodist Church of New Zealand (the Rev. H. L. Fiebig) and by the Rev. W. E. Falkingham.
