FRENCH BUDGET
CUT MADE IN ARMS SPENDING _ PARIS, Dec. 14. France will spend 10 per cent, less on her armed forces and 'slightly increase her civil expenditure under the Budget for 1954 voted today by the National Assembly. The Assembly approved by 394 votes to 226 a total expenditure of 3,733.000,000,000 francs in 1954 as against 3.814,000,000.000 francs this year Military expenditure will drop to 1,110,000,000,000 francs from 1,233,000,000.000 francs this - year.
