RANGIORA PROPERTY SALES
A property described as a farmlet, consisting of eight acres of heavy grazing land, with a six-roomed house and outbuildings, in Victoria street, Rangiora, was sold at auction yesterday for £2BOO. Hie sale was on account of Mr J. G. Fletcher, and the buyer was Mr D. E. A. McCann, Amberley. A four-roomed house, on Brick Kiln road, Rangiora, with two acres of land, was sold at auction yesterday for £l4OO on account of Mrs L. J. Waddell.
Four Cust holdings, the property of Mr M. B. Leslie, which were offered at auction at Rangiora yesterday, were passed in, having failed to reach the reserve price fixed for them. The first lot of 147 acres, situated at Boundary road, Bennetts, 10 acres being ploughed and the balance in clover and cocksfoot, together with a fiveroomed house and sheds, reached £l7 10s an acre. Lot 2, of 112 acres, containing a shed, reached £25 ss. Lot 3. of 80 acres, containing two houses and a shed, reached £24. Lot 4, of 40 acres, was passed in at £25.
