ROYAL AIR FORCE IN FAR EAST

COMMANDER LEAVES FOR VISIT TO N.Z. (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 9. The Commander-in-Chief of the Far East Air Force (Air Marshal Sir Clifford Sanderson) left Singapore for Jakarta on Saturday and flew to Darwin yesterday on the first stage of a 17-day tour of Australia and New Zealand. In Australia he will visit Woomera and will meet the Australian Air Minister (Mr W. McMahon) and other Ministers of the Federal Government and service chiefs. He will leave Australia for New Zealand on November 19 for a fiveday visit as a guest of the Government, and will have talks with Ministers and service chiefs before returning to Singapore on November 2fi.
