RUGBY LEAGUE

NOTED FRENCH FULLBACK

AUSTRALIAN CONTRACT FOR PUIG-AUBERT (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright)

PARIS, November 5. Puig-Aubert, the French international Rugby League full-back, who has been offered a three-year contract as trainercoach by the Australian Rugby League, is included in the French team to play England at Bradford on Saturday.

The general secretary of the French Rugby League (Dr. Antoine Blain) said Puig-Aubert had asked not to be included in the team, because business calls had prevented enough practice, but the selectors asked him to play to give confidence to old and new players. The team is:—Puig-Aubert, Caritoni, Andre Carrere, Roger Rey, Andre Savone, Antoine Jimenez. Roger Guilhem, Jean Andoubert, Joseph Trawcyck, Francis Rinaldi, Jean Pambrun, and Rene Duffort.
