The Addington Workshops’ Brass Band held its annual solo competitions in the Railway Social Hall at Addington. Mr R. J. Estall was the judge and Mrs H. Lockey the accompanist. Results:— A Grade.—R. Hughes, 75 points, 1; C. Ackland, 73 2; A. Borland, 70, 3.
