PILOTLESS PLANE CRASHES

HOUSE DAMAGED IN BRITAIN (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 19. A radio-controlled pilotless plane got out of control at Stiffkey, Norfolk, today, and crashed through the roof of a house into a bedroom. Noone was injured.

The plane was operated by the United States Army. It got out of control after engine trouble when it was flying over the sea. Attempts to land the. plane at its base failed. It was pulled out of its dive and it skimmed over the base at a height of about 50 feet before crashing.
