Vic Seixas (United States) beat Lewis Hoad (Australia), 8-6, 6-4, 11-9. and Ken Rosewall (Australia) beat Tony Trabert (United States), 1-6, 7-5, 6-1, 6-2, in the semi-finals of the Southwest Pacific tenhis tournament. In the quarter-finals, Trabert beat Hugh Stewart (United States), 6-2, 5-7 T 6-4, 6-1, and Rosewall beat Bob Perry (United States) 10-8, 6-4, 6-4.
