WRITERS’ FELLOWSHIP OF W.E.A.

INAUGURAL MEETING The first meeting of the Workers Educational Association Writers’ Fellowship .was held recently. Mahy members joined and promised support for the future. A committee was formed to draw up a constitution, and meeting dates were fixed. Mr Stouppe arranged the programme for the evening, assisted by Mrs Lough, who gave a short talk On children’s books ahd modern story tales. Mrs Bean read one of her oum stories, and Mrs Dalziel gave some sidelights oh Rupert Brooke. Mts W. A. McDonald gave a book criticism, and Mr L. F. de jßerry conducted a spelling bee. The following officers were elected: patron, Mr de Berry; president, Mr E, A. McKaskell; secretary and treasurer, Mrs R. M. Seyb; delegate to W,E,A. council, Mrs G. T, Wilson.
