ALL BLACKS AND U.S.A.

Sir, —I read with disgust the report that our Rugby football representatives are to go through an “inquisition” in the United States Embassy at Wellington. They are to be fingerprinted, etc. The United States apparently thinks it is now big enough to hand out such insults. Let us be big enough, too, and tell them to go to the warm place. I am concerned, too, in wondering whether Mr Holland was submitted to the same indignity when he entered the United States.—Yours, etc.. ERNEST BATCHELOR. September 17, 1953.
