Petroleum Research Scholars
Six young scientists from the Commonwealth, two each from New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa, will begin two years’ post-graduate study at British universities this year. The New Zealanders are Messrs M. H Panckhurst and J. H. Percy. They are winners of scholarships valued at £750 a year offered by the Shell Petroleum Company, Ltd., to encourage study and research in sciences that relate to petroleum.—London, August 28.
