£201,050 HANDLED ON SATURDAY
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 30. Net investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on the four race meetings held yesterday totalled £201,050. This amount comprised win-and-place bets of £124,257 10s and doubles of los. Totals and off-course doubles substitutes for the individual meetings were; Carterton Racing Club, £50,373 10s (Lovely Bouquet). Pakuranga Hunt Club, £76,020 ss. (White Ensign). New Brighton Trotting Club, £54,135.
Eastern Southland Hunt Club, £20,521 5s (Chief Mate).
