WINDWHISTLE CLUB Miss G, Hall won the simultaneous start downhill, second event of the Windwhistle Winter Sports Club’s ski championships at Mount Olympus on Saturday, when she covered the course, a descent of 1760 feet, in 2min 55.45ec. Second place was ’ filled by David Stone, whose time was 3min. The first event of the champidnships, the slalom, was held on the previous Saturday. Snow conditions were good, although a mild thaw wet the surface and made the course a little slow. The weather was perfect. Nine starters took part in the downhill. Results:— Miss G.
