NEW ZEALAND CADET COMPETITIONS
CANTERBURY WINS ROBIN
MEMORIAL SHIELD ’ (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 30 The New Zealand competitions of th. St. John Ambualance Brigade were held on Saturday in Dunedin.
The outstanding competitor was Min Margery Roe, of South Auckland, who won the Canterbury Centennial Shield for the individual champion nursing cadet.
Colonel George Barclay Memorial Shield, for champion nursing team: Canterbury, 178.5 points (possible 260), i. Auckland, 174.1, 2; Hawke's Bay, 169.5 a’ Sir Alfred Robin Memorial Shield, ’for champion cadet ambulance team: Canterbury, 192.1 points (possible 269), 1; Aiickland, 182.49, 2; Otago, 179.5, 3.
Canterbury Centennial Shield, for individual champion nursing cadet: Margery Roe (South Auckland), 162.8 points (possible 200), 1: Canterbury, 159.6, 2; Wellington, 144.75, 3.
Bledisloe Cup, for individual champion ambulance cadet: Donald Milne (Canterbury), 160.3 points (possible 200), 1; Otaso 146.3, 2; South Auckland, 143.4, 3. ’
