INVERCARGILL DOG SHOW

AWARDS TO CHRISTCHURCH EXHIBITORS Major awards gained by Christchurch fanciers in the recent Southland Kennel Club show in Invercargill include the prize for the best dog in the show and the best toy dog, gained by E. Dalglish, of Opawa, with his miniature Pomeranian, Locarno Sensation. Miss Jean Wiffin, of Fendalton, won the prize for the best sporting dog, and the best opposite sex of the show, with her black cocker spaniel Gunwa Classic Q.C. Altogether 131 dogs were exhibited in the show. Mr W. G. Robson, of Blenheim, was the judge.
