TERRORISTS WOUND KENYA OFFICER
ivr rx .NAIROBI, July 19. Mr Sidney Davidson, an Australianborn Kenya Government officer, who is reported to shave killed 33 terrorists, was shot and seriously wounded when leading a raid on a Mau Mau camp in the Aberdare forest. He was shot four times at pointblank range by a terrorist armed with a sub-machme-gun. Mr Davidson clubbed his assailant with the butt of his rifle.
Mr Davidson was carried out of the jungle after the raid and rushed to hospital in Nairobi. Doctors performed an emergency operation and tonight his condition was reported to be fairly satisfactory.
