HYDRO WORKS AT ROXBURGH

MINISTER DISAPPOINTED WITH PROGRESS

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, July 20. Disappointment that the progress made with the construction of the Roxburgh hydro-electric power project had not been up to expectations was expressed by the Minister of Works (Mr W. S. Goosman) after visiting the project today. Mr Goosman said that he had expressed this view to the contractors, Cubitts, Zschokke, Ltd., and had discussed with them certain changes in methods and procedure that the engineers of the Ministry of Works believed would accelerate progress.
