APPEAL ADJOURNED (From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, July 20.

An appeal by Leslie Gordon Lukey, of Christchurch, against the sentence of seven days’ imprisonment with hard labour, imposed on him on his conviction for assault in the Magistrate’s Court at’Greymouth last week, will be heard at Christchurch on Thursday. The appeal was set down for hearing at Greymvuth today, but an application for an adjournment to Christchurch was granted.
