UNATTENDED POSTAL STALL

(From a Reuter Correspondent.) BARODA, INDIA. The local council of Samiada Mulani, a little town near Baroda, successfully tested the honesty of its people by running for two months an unattended postal stall in the central market place. Postcards, stationary and stamps were left on the stall and the people were told to help themselves and leave the money. The council said receipts were not one anna short when they held a chek.
