Mid-Winter Swim.— With the temperature of the water at 49 degrees, hardy Wellington y swimmers took part in the mid-winter swim for the Davenport Cup at Te Aro Baths on Sunday morning. J. Slyfield won the race by a touch from V. Gotlieb in 37 3-ssec. Six competitors were awarded third place, the judges being unable to separate them.
