LANCASTER PARK
Sir,—From the stands it is often difficult to pick up the flags on the far side of the ground, especially towards the end of the game when the light is fading. May I suggest that the flagstaffs at the goal line, 25 yards, and half-way marks be painted some bright colour, say, orange? I dare say the bankers have the same trouble fiom their side.— Yours, etc., June 22, 1953.
