WILLOWGROVE SHIELD COMPETITION

The first round of matches for the Willowgrove Shield was completed recently. Results:—Glenmark, with 3 wins, 8 points; Waikari, 4; Scargill, 2; Hawarden, 0. The highest individual aggregates so far recorded are as follows:—W. D. Earl, Waikari, 239 and 21 inners; W. McAdam, Waikari, 239 and 16 inners.; J. Hamilton, Waikari, R. Elliott, and A.
