Food Poisoning from Pies.—Contaminated meat pies had caused 734 cases of food poisoning, one fatal, in the Preston area of northern England, the Minister of Health (Mr lain Macleod) told the House of Commons today.' He said that the manufacture of the pies had been stopped, awaiting investigations.--London, June 18.
