«NO CHILDREN ”
Sir.—Your correspondent “Remember Us and Think What Might Have Been” is correct in saying I ignore the fact that the dear old. lady property-owners may, be widows, mothers, etc. of former servicemen. That is beside the point If I consider the argument from that angle, myself, wife of a serviceman, mother of two servicemen and so on I would be too tearful to proceed with this letter. I am afraid your correspondent has only strengthened my assertion that those dear old ladies would do well to help along those same former servicemen by letting their properties to them at a reasonable figure and without the child restriction.—Yours, etc.. SIX CHILDREN, NO PROPERTY. June 12, 1953.
