AMALGAMATION
Sir, —“Alarmed” apparently has not noticed the “new look” of. the heavens. Many people have commented on it, but I have never as yet seen any written account, apart from the mention in “The Press” last year of the extra brilliance of the star Venus. The bigger stars have never in my lifetime looked so clear and brilliant as now. The moon, too, has deeper colour and looks alive. The ancients said that the heavens foretold the coming of new events. I have read that the sun is periodically reborn, i.e. it casts off the old. as a snake sheds its skin, and takes new life in the form of fresh magnetism, etc. It probably has recently done so. —Yours, etc., NEW] AGE. June 8, 1953.
