STEEPLECHASE WON BY ENDOWED (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, June 1, The Masterton jockey. A. C. Messervy, rode six winners at the Napier Park Racing Club’s two-day fixture which concluded today. Included in his four firstday successes were the double events, and today he rode the winner of the first leg (Cheerful Morn) and the second horse in the second leg (Snow Saint). Today’s double, Cheerful Morn-Stepova, returned £3l 4s 6d for £l. The on-course turnover today amounted to £44,223, compared with £61,014 on the same day last year.
