RESERVE BANK RETURN
STERLING FUNDS AT HIGH LEVEL Sterling funds of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand increased by £1,340,000 in the W’eek to May 20 to reach the highest level since early October, 1951, at £63,598,000. Since December 24 of last year, the upward movement in the funds has been interrupted only once. Today’s level is nearly £391)00,000 higher than that of a year ago.
