Deaths in Thunderstorm.— A violent thunderstorm with rain broke in Turin tonight, killing at least three persons and injuring several others. The storm snapped off nearly 130 feet of the 551-foot spire of the Antonelli Church, one of Italy’s most famous landmarks. Two persons were killed by falling or flying roof tiles, and the third killed was a car passenger who was crushed by a falling tree.—Turin, May 23.
