AUSTRALIA TO VISIT FIJI (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 21. The New South Wales Rugby Union Council has decided that an Australian team will be sent to Fiji this season. The tour will provide consolation for those players who missed selection in the team to tour South Africa. Four Australian Rugby Union teams now will be sent overseas this season—to South Africa, to Fiji, to Ceylon, and an Australian Services team will leave for New Zealand on July 15. The Australians chosen for Fiji will have to pay part of their expenses, the same as the players in the Australian team for Ceylon are doing. The team for Fiji will consist mainly of young and promising players who will not tackle the combined strength of Fiji, but will engage in matches against various clubs.
