ATTENDANCES AT CENTRE MEETINGS Letters wUI be sent to two delegates of clubs affiliated to the Christchurch centre of the New Zealand Bowhng Association; informing them that they had been absent from two consecutive meetings of tne centre , without explanation, and warning them that under the centres rules they had forfeited their right to representation. This was reported by the president (Mr S. L. Hall) at a meeting of the centre delegates last evening. Mr F. W. Larcombe raised the matter when he said that one club had not been represented at the last three meetings. He suggested that a letter should be written to the delegate asking for an "Ha?! 1 said the delegate of another club had also been absent on several occasions. He quoted the centre’s rule on attendances at meetings—that if a delegate was absent from two consecutive meetings, he lost the right of representing his club. The meeting unanimously decided to recommend to the New Zealand council that the Hawarden Bowling Clubs application for affiliation be granted. It was reported that the club had a rubberised green, and that all its other facilities were of a high standard. Messrs Hall, W. R. Featherston, and J. R. Smith were re-elected councillors to the New Zealand association.
