KOREAN TOTAL NOW 132,967
(Rec. 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 8. United States battle casualties in Korea jumped to 1039 last week as a result of the fierce fighting for Bunker Hill and Old Baldy, the Defence Department reported today. The increase, which was the largest since last November, brought the total of United States casualties since the start of the Korean war in 1950 to 132,967.
