When Queen Salote of Tonga leaves Wellington in the Rangitoto on Saturday week to attend the Coronation, she will take Tongan national dress to wear to Westminster Abbey. Both Queen Salote and her daughter-in-law, Princess Mataaho, will wear national dress to the Abbey ceremony. The invitation to attend the Coronation came from the British Government, and the party will stay at St. James’ Palace. Travelling with the Queen will be Mrs J. E.
