SUPPLIES FOR CHINA
Sir,—According to “The Press” today, the Americans who , supposediv are fighting the Koreans and Chinese in Korea, are pouring supplies of all kinds into China. The conscience of “Big Business” knows no bounds, for it does not matter that the lives of young men are being sacrificed on both sides, as long as the greedy lust for profits is maintained. The people are suspicious that in past wars the same sort of thing has occurred. The only way to curb those who indulge in these activities is to introduce a socialist state, in which the profits from industry are paid into a State fund for the good and well-being of the people generally. In such a state there would be no difficulty in finding money for schools and universities.— Yours, etc., P J A March 11, 1952.
