GREEK SOLDIERS HELD CAPTIVE
COMPLAINT BROUGHT BEFORE U.N. (Rec. 8 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 9. In the United Nations Political Committee today, Mr Alexis Kyrou, of Greece, claimed that 3000 Greek soldiers captured by Communist guerrillars in operations after the war were still being held behind the Iron Curtain. New Zealand, Peru and Denmark introduced a resolution appealing to the detaining countries to conform to the generally accepted principles of international law, and requesting the President of the General Assembly to consult those governments and report back to the General Assembly before the end of the session.
