Sales Tax Criticised
..The sales tax act, as it applied Ihe motor body building industry, wai criticised by several delegates at the annual conference of the New Zea* land Motor Body Builders’ Union in Dunedin yesterday. The discussion f rom remits sponsored by the Wejlington and Canterbury branches of the union. Delegates agreed tha* the tax should be abolished, and that representations to the Government Should be continued until relief was obtained.— (P.A.)
