FRENCH GENERAL IN TOKYO
FAR EAST POLICY DISCUSSED TOKYO, February 19. The Inspector-General of the French Forces (Marshal Juin) today conferred with the United Nations commander, General Mark Clark, and the Japanese Prime Minister (Mr Yoshida). Military sources said that they discussed the military line-up of the anti-Cbmmunist forces in the Far East. Marshal Juin was reported to have discussed the creation of a link between the Far East non-Communist countries and a military liaison group in Singapore composed of Britain, France, New Zealand, Australia, and Lie United States.
