The club engaged Mr James Watt, a former professional to the Wellington Golf Club. Mr Watt has now completed Dians for a new course. 6495 yards long, which can be extended by another 29C yards. This will give Manor Park the longest course in New Zealand and the longest hole —one of 600 yards: When it is completed in about two years, the new course will demand great accuracy from scratch players to secure par figures, as many holes will require the placing of drives to ensure straight second shots to the green.
