PROTEST MADE BY N.Z.
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 21. The Minister of Marketing (Mr K. J. Holyoake) said tonight that New Zealand, through her Ambassador in Washington (Mr L. K. Munro) had lodged a protest io the United States Government against the imposition of Increased tariffs on wool entering the United States. Mr Holyoake said that New Zealand had been In consultation with other countries on the steps which should be taken against the imposition. He said that he did not wish to make any further comment at this stage, but would amplify his statement in the near future.
