A WEATHER FORECAST
Sir, —I am in agreement with “Inasmuch,” but I differ from him in extending sympathy to the sheepfarmer in his financial loss in shearing those unfortunate sheep before the proper time. No doubt his reason was an early wool cheque. Little thought, if any, was given to his dumb moneyearners, who paid the supreme price with their lives, and all for filthy lucre. No doubt the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be interested in this.—Yours, etc., ELIZABETH HILLGROVE. October 7, 1952.
