NEW METHOD OF WHALING
Norwegians to use HELICOPTERS
(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, October 7. A new use for helicopters will be fried out in the Antarctic when the JJ?rwegian whaling expeditions leave Norway in a few weeks, says the Oslo correspondent of “The Times.” They will not only use helicopters m the search for whales, but also will fry a new method of killing. ./Ibe use of helicopters has shown a whale does not fear anything above the surface of the sea. Attempts be made to fire rockets from the ‘ Jfrcraft. The rocket is intended to kill whale and simultaneously explode JJ oxygen bomb inside it to keep it until a boat arrives.
