COMPANIES BILL
PASSAGE S'HIS YEAR UNLIKELY
(From. Our Parliamentarye Reporter) WELLINGTON, October 6. The Companies Bill, which w» -introduced in the House of Representatives last, month, js unlikely to be proceeded with by the Government during this session of Parliament. The bill, which consists of 469 clauses, is now on the order paper awaiting its second reading and will probably remain there until next year. Another even larger bill, the Shipping and Seamen Bill, which is also before Partiament, is another measure which is not expected to be passed during this session.
